Welcome to the Skinner Mobile Veterinary Hospital Web Site

Our mission is to provide Veterinary Medical care in a friendly, relaxed setting-your own home or office. We offer preventative health care, vaccinations, diagnostic tests, surgery and dentistry.

Dr. Sarah Skinner, Veterinarian

Dr. Sarah Skinner

Dr. Skinner is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from Hollins University with a degree in Biology and from the University of Georgia with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1985. She has been in private practice since that time and mobile practice for 15 years. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Feline Practitioners, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, VIN – Veterinary Information Network, and the Jacksonville Veterinary Medical Association. She has three children, Betsy, Walker and Billy and two horses, four dogs, three cats and eight chickens. She is on the board and volunteers her time with a local non-profit mobile spay/neuter hospital – River City Community Animal Hospital.

Sharon Harris, CVT

Sharon Harris, CVT, has been with the practice for 8 years and worked with Dr. Skinner for 9 years at Briarcliff Animal Hospital prior to joining her in the mobile practice. A native of Ohio, she has been a resident of Florida since 1988. Sharon has many years of experience working in the field of veterinary medicine, is a certified Veterinary Technician and a graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology.

Jill Morton

Jill is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. Jill graduated from Brenau University with a degree in Early Education. She has worked  as a social worker, a teacher as well as with a non-profit for children in the Springfield area. She is the mother of a daughter and twin boys and the grandmother of twins. Jill has worked as the bookkeeper for the practice for 8 years and 5 years ago came on board the van as veterinary assistant.
